C. Roe Goddard, PhD

Dr. Goddard is Associate Professor at Thunderbird School of Global Management. His major areas of teaching and research are international monetary/financial relations and globalization, and foreign direct investment management in China. Dr. Goddard received his MBA in International Business from the University of Denver and his PhD in International Political Economy from the University of South Carolina. He is the author of U.S. Foreign Economic Policy and the Latin American Debt Issue, published by Garland Press, and is co-editor of International Political Economy-State-Market Relations in the Changing Global Order, the second most widely selling edited textbook in the field of international political economy.

Frank Tuzzolino, PhD

Dr. Tuzzolino is currently an Associate Professor of Finance at Thunderbird School of Global Management, where for the past 21 years, he has taught such courses as Corporate Finance, Investments and Financial Statement Analysis. Prior to joining Thunderbird, he was a faculty member at SUNY, LIU and his engineering alma mater, Manhattan College. Dr. Tuzzolino also spent eight years as a research and project engineer in the aerospace sector, with top security clearance, for such clients as NASA and JPL. In addition, he has work experience on Wall Street, having served as an operating officer for Citibank.

Rich Ettenson, PhD

Dr. Ettenson is Associate Professor of International Marketing, Department of World Business at Thunderbird School of Global Management. His areas of expertise include international marketing strategy, global branding, consumer behavior and the effect of marketing mix variables on consumers' decision making. Prior to joining Thunderbird, Dr. Ettenson served on the faculties of the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago, the University of Maryland, College Park and Georgetown University. He also served as an Associate Professor and Head of the Marketing Area in the School of Business at Bond University in Australia.

Sundaresan Ram, PhD

Dr. Ram is an Associate Professor of Marketing in the Department of Global Business at Thunderbird School of Global Management. Prior to joining Thunderbird in 1992, he was on the faculty at the University of California at Irvine, UCLA and the University of Arizona. He holds a PhD in Business Management (Marketing) from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (1985), an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Bachelor's in Engineering (Metallurgy) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Dr. Ram is the Chair of the U.S. Western Region of the Academy of International Business. Dr. Ram is the multiple recipient of the Outstanding Professor Award for Teaching Excellence at Thunderbird and has been nominated for the award on several other occasions.

Robert Moran, PhD

Dr. Moran is an Organizational and Management Consultant with specialties in cross-cultural training, organizational development and international human resource management. Dr. Moran received his graduate degrees from the University of Minnesota. As an international consultant, he has designed and conducted executive programs for Aramco, Arthur Andersen & Co., AT&T, General Motors, Honeywell, Intel, Bayer, Exxon, Volvo Truck Corporation and Singapore Airlines, among others.

Signe Nunez, PhD

Dr. Nunez is an intercultural communication consultant and trainer for Fortune 500 companies in the United States and abroad. She holds a PhD in Intercultural Communication from Arizona State University, an MA in Organizational Communication from San Jose State University and a BS in Administrative Communication from Northern Arizona University. She is also a cultural diversity trainer for American Express and Motorola, among others. Dr. Nunez is both a certified mediator and a certified trainer for the National Coalition-Building Institute in Washington, D.C. Before joining the faculty at Thunderbird, Dr. Nunez taught at universities in Hawaii and Northern California. In Arizona, she taught at NAU, ASU and ASU-East.

William Youngdahl, PhD

Dr. Bill Youngdahl is an Associate Professor of Operations Management in the Global Business Department of Thunderbird School of Global Management. He received his PhD in Business Administration and MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Cal Poly, Pomona. Dr. Youngdahl is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Dr. Youngdahl's full-time industry experience includes project management at Hughes Aircraft, manufacturing engineering at Xerox, and service quality improvement consulting with Action Research in Los Angeles. He also served in the United States Navy. During his seven years at Thunderbird, Dr. Youngdahl has also won awards for teaching, research and service.

Mary Teagarden, PhD

Dr. Teagarden, formerly Vice President for Academic Programs, is Professor of Global Strategy at Thunderbird School of Global Management. She teaches Global Strategy, Innovation and Strategic Human Resource Management. She has been recognized by the corporate and academic worlds for her teaching excellence at both the graduate and executive levels. Dr. Teagarden received her PhD in Global Strategic Management, and Strategic Change and Implementation from the University of Southern California. Her research interest is global competitiveness and capability building with an emphasis on the management of technology firms, off-shore manufacturing and service innovation, high-technology transfer, sustainable development and strategic human resource management.
